Rode the Gondola up at Snowbasin with the boys around 4ish and got an idea to run up later that night and possibly spend the night around the top somewhere... first had a great hike with the boys, there are large boulder fields everywhere and they had a blast rockhoppin...

Left on my run around 9:30 from Wheelers ran up A.N. and across to East Fork, as I was starting up there I got a phone call from a good friend from Cali who was at Snowbasin(coincidentally)at a wedding, he drove down and we ended up chatting for an hour or so... he actually drove me up to the Snowbasin parking lot, I headed out from there again... and started on the trails  but because of all the MTn bike trail meandoring I decided to head straight up... and thats what I did all the way to the JP lodge, straight up the Womens DH which is a steep one, felt awesome, amazing Moonlight... at the top it got real windy so I got worried on where I was going to lay my head down for the night, as I only had a tarp and a very light weight fleece blanket... walked around the lodge with no luck they have some construction going on so the plastic was whipping around everywhere with the wind... walked over to the Olympic tram and to my luck the tram was sitting right at the bottom and the door was unlocked and there was a yellow pad that they use to wrap around the lift poles sitting inside... ended up being the perfect sleeping spot. Slept Ok, it was a very warm night, which helped... fun time and a good push up the steep hills!
