With the day off I decided yesterday I would do a good long one, invited a few and got one taker AKA the MTN goat(figures)... good to have him along, he kept me rolling!

The plan was:Start at Wheelers and end up at my office in S.Ogden, and go via over the Mtn..

Good early start and we kept it pretty steady running 90% of the trails... Wheeler/E.Fork/GPond/ and then when we got within Snowbasin we meandered over toward Strawberry on the very wierdly designed mtn biking trails... there doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to some of them... I like trail that get you to a place... those seem to just meandor for the sake of meandoring... anyway got over near Strawberry and headed straight up the run... ended up being a good decision, but a steep decision... Steep Stuff... got in a good groove though and felt good... topped out at exactly 10 miles into the run... then realized we needed to traverse back along the top ridge to catch the Beus trail... added about a mile, finally hit the trail and let it rip for the fun very technical downhill... roots, rocks, brush, dropoffs, stream crossing and more... good fun!

Made it down to the office where my car was in around 4:40 and a total of 17.8... Good Adventure... my first time down the Beus Trail!
