Headed out for a run to the parents to pick up the kids... weather looked fairly mild from the inside, temps were in the low 40's... got about a half mile into the run and the winds hit with a gusto and then the rain/sleet hit... it was all good when I was running East but when I turned to the South the wind and rain pounded me good... funny thing is storms usually come from the NW and this one was coming from the SW... it was a beater, reminded me of a few years ago training for Ogden and every Saturday run we did had brutal weather! It actually was an enjoyable outing, just put my head down and grinded... the last few miles were a crosswind with the occasional moments of a tailwind... felt pretty good tried to push it the last few... didn't have a watch but I think I ave. about 8:30's for the run overall...
